House Plan Design Process

Step 1: Schedule Your Consultation 

• Call us or book online to set up your appointment for our Florida home design services.
  •  New Construction: We’ll meet at our location to discuss your ideas—size, style, and layout of your Jacksonville house plans. 
  • Remodels & Additions: If needed, we’ll arrange an onsite visit to review your project.

• Consultation fees: 
  • $50 for new home design meetings at our location
  • $75 for additions and remodels requiring an onsite visit 
  • (Fees are due at the time of booking.) 

Step 2: Preliminary Design 

• Once you’re ready to move forward, a deposit for the initial/ preliminary plan will be required and due upon agreement signing. After our meeting, we’ll create a preliminary floor plan and exterior elevation. A PDF file can be emailed to you or picked up in person for review. 

Step 3: Revisions 

• We include 2–3 minor revisions at no additional cost, provided the basic footprint remains unchanged.

Step 4: Final Drawing 

• Once your design is finalized and approved, we’ll prepare the complete set of drawings for you. 
• Engineer Support: A list of trusted engineers can be provided upon request to assist with any required reviews or seals. 
• Preferred Builder Partnership: We proudly collaborate with Colleron Builders, Inc as our preferred builder. Clients who choose Colleron Builders may be eligible for special incentives and plan design cost reimbursement. 

Special Note for Renovations & Additions

• For projects such as renovations, additions, or garage plans, once the price has been agreed upon and design agreement is signed, we’ll take detailed measurements before beginning the preliminary design and the process will continue as the above Steps 2 - 4.
